Developing

What chemistry is used to process the film?
We use ILFORD ILFOTEC DD.

What equipment is used to process the films?
We use a Refrema dip and dunk processer.

Can you process other manufacturers films?
Yes, we can accept 35mm, 120 and Sheet Film from any manufacturer.

Can you accept colour films?
Yes, we can accept C-41 colour negative and E-6 transparency films also.
However, colour films are not printed to ILFORD black and white paper, but instead printed on FujiFilm Supreme Paper.

What is the turnaround time?
Develop and scan orders typically take 3-5 business days.  Develop, scan and print typically takes 4-6 business days.

Scanning

What options do you offer for scanning negatives ?
We offer three levels of scanning. See chart below.

What file formats are the prints saved to?
We save the scans to high quality JPEG format.

How are scans delivered?
Small and Medium scans are delivered via CD.  Large scans are delivered via web download.  USB flash drives are optional.

Printing

What paper do you print to?
Black and white is printed on HARMAN GDS RC.

GDS RC is a premium quality, black & white, panchromatic photographic paper. Coated onto a bright white, water resistant and resin coated base, this medium weight (190gsm) paper has been designed using the very latest black & white silver halide emulsion technology.

What chemistry do you use?
We process our paper using ILFORD 2000RT Developer and Fix.

How are prints exposed?
We use a laser system to expose the photographic paper.
